The Perimeter is pleased to announce Forum 2026. This is the second iteration of our annual programme of artist performances. Forum 2026 will take shape as a summer soirée, featuring new durational works by both Solomon Garçon and H M Baker.

The works engage with surveillance, physical and mental labour, and how staging and choreography within performance can expose or conceal embedded power structures.

H M Baker’s (b. Southampton, UK. Lives and works between Southampton and London, UK) practice is concerned with structures of power, labour, performativity and gender. Working collaboratively with performance, film, and print, she engages in research projects that interrogate the meaning of work.

Solomon Garçon (b.1991) is an artist based in London. Working across performance, sculpture, and sound, his practice slips between visibility and vacancy, often intertwining histories of domestic surveillance technologies and the mediation of popular narratives. His ongoing analysis of contemporary media production’s techniques and cultures looks to the undercurrents and motives of image making in the hypermodern condition, a logic of late capitalism that sees the camera and the microphone as tools that capture and commodify anything and everything, rendering every site a set, and every human interaction a scene.
